Staples: People Love Their Tablets ... in the Bathroom?

Staples on Tuesday released a nice little explanation ', use the pill, but perhaps the most interesting data (gross?) Is that 35 percent of owners use a tablet device in the bathroom.

Not surprisingly, people are more expensive for the tablets, because they are convenient and portable. "The ability to insert the compressed portfolio or a small bag was more important than the ability to videoconference, the device's operating system or office can easily e-mail and VPN," according to Staples Advantage, the B2B division of a company office supplies .

But more than a few people seem to check their e-mail, play angry birds, and read their Twitter feed while on the commode. Of the 200 respondents at least 70 quality time with their camera in the bathroom. Another 30 percent of their use in restaurants (not a word about the restaurant bathrooms). But most people, or 78 percent, with their curling iPad, Xoom, Galaxy lose or TouchPad (RIP) in bed.

All this seems to be compressed together to improve the quality of life. Of those surveyed, 60 percent said they make more on a shelf. Another 40 percent said the main reason he bought a bar of keep in touch with clients and colleagues. About 75 percent are using it to check email review and third and edit documents.

Staples, however, recommended that pill users pay more attention to safety. About two thirds of the owners of the tablets are now back up data on their shelves. Less than 15 percent, meanwhile, have no antivirus or encryption software installed.

"Tablets provide exceptional comfort and a better work / life balance, making it easy for employees to keep information with them and use business applications wherever they go," Ed Ludwigson, a President Staples Advantage vice, said in a statement. "For employers, the advantage of having a more productive workforce that is always connected with what is happening in the office."
